SUMMARY OF THE PROJECT: We will organize the Second Edition of our Photo exhibition ‘Sicilia A Prima Vista’, for which we will ask our partners, and other contacts and friends around the world, to send us pictures of their (first) impression of Sicily and the culture. By showing these pictures we want to share the impressions from people from all over the world and convince others to visit this beautiful island & to explore the culture. The fact that everybody has a different perspective and thereby different values, is an interesting phenomenon that emphasizes that there are many different people and cultures. This will stand out during this 2nd photo- exhibition of Sicilia. For a person from Holland, a picture with a view over the mountains can be very impressive. For a person from Austria, a sea- picture can be amazing. For others in general, pictures of local inhabitants and food can be very special, because they really liked the hospitality of the people during their visit to Sicily. The pictures will tell where they were taken and what feeling came along while taking the picture. Another important aim of the exhibition is; “Showing a different view!” . An expression related to this is: “Seeing the world through different glasses”, in this case, “Seeing Sicily through different glasses”. To let this expression become reality  we want to offer every visitor of the exhibition an assortment of glasses, from which they can choose their own type/style of glasses. Lastly, we will create a ‘Corner Of Perspectives’, where guests of the exhibition ( also online) can share  their answer to the question: ‘What is the most important aspect and outcome of ‘Looking through different glasses?’

And when traditional process is reached, find a new creative usage of food, innovations in the kitchen, culinary arts, which have already taken place in the market.
