Jalari Artist Residency

The first Artists’ Residence to open in the island of Sicily, south of Italy, the Jalari Artist Residency (JAR)  is a historical park located on a hilltop outside Barcellona P.G. (ME). It provides International and national artists of all disciplines with a dedicated, inspiring art retreat to focus and create, away from the stress and distractions of urban living.

Enjoying a privileged position at the Parco Museo Jalari, JAR makes for an idyllic country escape. During your Artist Residency you will be able to concentrate fully on your creative work. You will also have the chance to discover the real Italy, off the beaten touristic path, at its most traditional and most unspoiled. Because as Goethe wrote; To have seen Italy without having seen Sicily, is to not have seen Italy at all.
