The EU Erasmus+ Programme and EProjectConsult
The Erasmus+ Programme of the European Union represents a substantial part of the work we do at EProjectConsult. Of special interest to us is the Action 1 part of this programme, the Learning Mobility of Individuals, which supports the mobility of young people and youth workers as well as VET learners and staff. We have successfully participated and hosted several projects of this nature.
But we do not only work with youth mobility programmes. EProjectConsult also participates in Action 2 programmes which are Cooperations for Innovation and the Exchange of Good Practices. Below you can find some general information about the Erasmus+ Programme, but if you have more questions or maybe even a proposal for cooperation, you can always contact us.
The EU Erasmus + Programme
The new Erasmus+ Programme for 2014-2020 replaces the former Lifelong Learning Programme, Youth in Action Programme, Erasmus Mundus Programme, Tempus, Alfa, Edulink, and Programmes of cooperation with industrialized countries in the field of higher education. It is comprised of 3 Action Programmes each with a specific focus in the fields of education, training, youth and sport.
The programmes supported work towards providing people, especially youth, with the necessary competences needed for the competitive economy in an effort to fight rising levels of unemployment. It promotes cooperation among Member States and Partner Countries in these fields to increase youth mobility, transfer of knowledge and good practices. The programmes are designed to enhance competences, intercultural understanding, and to promote lifelong learning. Finally, Erasmus+ Programme works to ensure the recognition and validation of skills and qualifications across the EU, to achieve successful labour market integration of resources.
For a short description about the 3 Key Action Programmes see below
